Rhubarb Porridge
“What’s for breakfast?” I asked my friend Margaret and she said
“Have I got the recipe for you!” As she described this very healthy and hearty sounding recipe, I decided that I clearly need to put more effort into the first meal of the day. She gets four servings out of one recipe and you can leave out anything that doesn't appeal to you. Though I don’t love the reference to porridge (it triggers the Goldilocks story for me), I do love the interesting mix of healthful ingredients and the finishing touch of figs on top. I can’t wait to try this!
