Andrea Roberts - Long Covid Study
I find the results of this study fascinating, and not just because my sister-in-law was a lead research scientist for it. The Harvard School of Public Health just released the results of their 2 year study of long Covid as related to lifestyle. “Our findings raise the possibility that adopting more healthy behaviors may reduce the risk of developing long Covid-19,” Andrea L. Roberts ’88, a senior author of the study, said in the release.” Adapting 5 of the 6 behaviors discussed (adequate sleep, healthy diet, etc), you decrease your chances of contracting long Covid by half. This is yet another incentive to do all the things that ultimately make you feel better (like NOT having that second or third glass of wine).
