Barry Sonnenfeld

Admittedly, I wasn’t sure what Barry Sonnenfeld did, I just knew he was a Hollywood guy. Turns out he’s a filmmaker and director who started out working on porn films and ended up directing blockbusters like “Get Shorty” and “Men In Black”. The Smartless Podcast crew gets Sonnenfeld to cover a variety of fun topics. His New York accent is endearing and his storytelling really interesting - I never learned so much about cinematography and the impact of tracking versus panning. I think his book - “Call Your Mother: Memoirs of a Neurotic Filmmaker” - will be a great read now that I know who Barry Sonnenfeld is!
