Billy Idol

I had such a crush on this bad boy of the 80’s - a cute, rebellious punk rocker with sex appeal and a string of hits including Dancing With Myself, Rebel Yell, and Mony Mony.  I knew nothing about how he grew up, got into the music business, kicked his substance abuse and still tours at age 68 until I listened to him interviewed on “The Great Creators” with Guy Raz.  He is very authentic and open, logical and deep, self-deprecating and driven.  I guess I find young Billy Idol and older Billy Idol both highly appealing but for different reasons.
