Big Shoes to Fill

I just read the most amusing snippet that is at once genius and simplicity.   A cobbler from Romania invented a shoe that makes social distancing a breeze.  He constructs shoes that are two and a half feet long.  In an ideal world, everyone wears these canoes on their feet so that in conversation, you are 5 feet from one another.  While not necessarily practical and unlikely to be found on Zappos, I love the innovation that our new reality fosters.  Perhaps the cobbler was inspired by Pinocchio’s ability (ethical or not) to grow his nose to socially distanced lengths.  No lie.
