Jamie Harper

I am applauding my very talented friend, Jamie Harper. Jamie is an author and illustrator of several children’s books including her newly published, Miss Mingo and the 100th Day of School. This book is the fourth in a series of Miss Mingo books and like all of them, invites us into a classroom whose students and teacher are various animals. In each book, we learn about true, but unusual animal facts as the story develops. You (and your child or grandchild) can listen to Jamie read the story to you in the link below (story reading begins at minute 18). It’s really sweet! I’m giving a copy of this book to my 6 year old niece.
