K-I-S-S-I-N-G
I just saw the world premier of K-I-S-S-I-N-G co-produced by the Huntington Theatre and Front Porch Arts Collective and it is absolutely F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! I urge anyone living in the Boston area to get your tickets now as it runs through April 2nd. The story centers around 15 year old Lala, a budding artist, feminist and teen-ager just beginning to explore love and relationships. Lenelle Moise, playwright, is a masterful storyteller not wasting a single line - she incorporates plenty of humor within the drama and develops each character’s vulnerability and strengths organically. Amazing sets (think light show), music (think David Bowie), direction and cast make this a must-see. And I hope that those outside of Boston get to see K-I-S-S-I-N-G one day as I believe this play will land on other stages.
