The Nutcracker

After an 18 month absence, Boston Ballet is back in the theater - live on-stage - performing the holiday favorite Nutcracker. Dancers and audiences alike are beyond thrilled and truly emotional as we appreciate the sense of community, energy and humanity that is unique to live dance and music performance. Listening to Tchaikovsky’s score as we watched Clara and her dreamy experience unfold in the Land of Sweets felt like coming home again. Holidays are about traditions and rituals and it was very evident that The Nutcracker audience in 2021 never wants to miss another year of this classic. For a fun story about Boston Ballet dancer Isaac Akibah who hasn't missed a performance in 22 years, enjoy this article.
