Supplements!

Vital Proteins? Check. Vitamin D with Calcium? Check. Probiotic? Check. Just about everyone regardless of age is taking some kind of supplement - be it vitamins, protein powders or biotics - to make us even healthier, allow us to live even longer and/or make us look even younger than we should. But really, are all these supplements having any significant effect on us? I know I want to believe they do despite the lack of medically validated evidence and so have developed my addiction to the point that if I miss a pill or powder supp, I feel badly - more mentally than physically of course. Who knew that those delicious fruit-flavored Flinstone vitamins that our pushers - I mean our moms - served us daily would manifest into a supplement-indulgent society just a few decades later? And just an aside, the purple “Wilmas” were my favorite!
