Being Feted!

Speaking of raising children, it turns out that all the mental and physical exhaustion (and joy!) of 24/7 care you gave them from ages 0-18 pays off eventually.  As the premiere family party planner, I have thrown dozens of elaborately themed parties (including a few surprise parties - extra points for those) over the years.  But the tables turned last week when we had a family ski trip in Jackson Hole and I was on the receiving end!  Balloons, branded signage, a photo montage, a week’s schedule of activities including “Jill Jeopardy,” a Jill themed crossword puzzle, and a special family edition of “Bookmark This” greeted me as I entered our room.  My adult kids did so much to make me feel special and I just loved being the center of attention. Being the birthday girl is the BEST!
