David Chang

David Chang, who is a delight to watch in the kitchen as mentioned above, is even more fascinating in this “The Great Creators” podcast with Guy Raz.  Dave is very articulate and expressive as he speaks of his fascinating childhood growing up as a child of Korean immigrants (he was a competitive golfer as a child/teen before he was a chef).  His road to becoming a household name was a circuitous one with stops at Trinity College, the Int’l Culinary Institute and a road-trip to Japan where ramen became his obsession.  His honesty about trying to balance work and homelife is refreshing and it’s fun to see his wife in Episode 2 of the aforementioned “Chrissy and Dave” show.
