“Dazed and Confused”

I’m on a Matthew McConaughey bender.  What began as a small walk-on part in the 1993 film “Dazed and Confused”  turned into a breakout role for him (“Alright, alright, alright”).  The premise is simple:  It’s 1976 and it’s the last day of school in a small Texas town.  You’ve got your nerds, your brains, your athletes, your druggies and you get to relive bits and pieces of your high school experience with them (no matter when you were born).  Excellent music, characters (one of them being a very young Ben Affleck) and a simplicity from days gone by made me smile throughout.
