Hinge Happy Ending

I just heard the BEST first date story ever and it began with the dating app Hinge.  Names are changed to protect the innocent. Bob, 62 and divorced, begrudgingly allows his friends to create a Hinge profile for him.  Because he was “fresh bait” in the crowded pool of online dating, he received a lot of interest. Within 15 minutes of going live on Hinge, Bob sets up a dinner date with Sue, 53. Turns out Bob and Sue hit it off from the get-go.  After enjoying lots of oysters, a few martinis, and even a spontaneous kiss in the middle of dinner, they make their way back to Sue’s condo, but not without stopping in the lobby of not one, but two hotels on the short walk home to allow for more make-out sessions (and more martinis?).  Over a year later, they are very much together.  While Hinge may not be the answer for everyone, taking your friends’ advice on dating approaches may be the lesson learned here (and may result in a happy ending)!
