Japanese Gel Mani

I kid you not, my manicure lasts at least 4 weeks and looks just as good as it did on day one. Except for the small amount of nail growth, the nails are still shiny and chip-free a month later.  The secret is the use of a product known as Japanese gel, made with quality ingredients and high pigmentation.  It’s especially great for nail art, but I tend to do a single color or French ombre mani.  While I go much less often to the nail salon, the drawback is that each session takes 2-plus hours including removal of the old mani.  The cost is around $100 give or take, but that’s about the equivalent of getting two manis/month and I only need to go once/month.  Shout out to Sabrina for introducing me to my first one in NYC (go to M&M Studio).  I highly recommend Tinailery in Brookline for my Boston friends.
