Maple-Baked Salmon
Shout out to Jamie Harper for sharing this recipe with me! I used swordfish instead of salmon as that’s what I had on hand and eliminated the cilantro as that’s what I didn’t have on hand. It was pathetically easy and surprisingly delicious. I had never used maple syrup as a marinade ingredient as I thought it would be too sweet. Boy, was I wrong. It simply added a rich, distinctive flavor that perfectly complemented the fish - not overpowering at all. Syrup, dijon, mayonnaise and dinner is done.
