Milk Fed

This book was hard to read but I couldn’t put it down. I think the audience “sweet spot” is more Millennials than Empty Nesters, but perhaps that is why I found it fascinating - I learned so much! Disordered eating, questions surrounding religion and Israel’s existence, family dysfunction and lots of sex scenes are all part of the backdrop to Rachel’s life, our 24 year old protagonist who lives in LA and works for a talent-management agency. I found her both interesting and repulsive depending on the chapter. It’s a super quick read and actually a welcome break from the more serious memoirs and non-fiction I tend to read.
