Making New Friends

I just had a blind date! I was set up by a good friend (who lives in NYC) who wanted me to meet her good friend as we both spend a lot of time in Nantucket. Once virtually connected, Anna and I agreed to meet for coffee in town. It was kind of fun to have to describe what we looked like in order to make sure we found each other. Forty-five minutes later, after discovering many things we had in common and some things we didn’t, a new relationship was formed. The kids may have Hinge and Bumble, but I still like meeting people the old-fashioned way - through other friends. Thanks, Sharon!
