Tokyo 2020 Olympics

The last two weeks of television have been a delight thanks to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the amazing athletes from around the world. The competition, drama, heartache endured and dreams realized entertained us night after night. How delightful to watch fencing (shout out to Sally and her Olympian twin brother Eli Dershwitz who represented the U.S.A. in Saber Fencing), diving, gymnastics and so on instead of MLB for a change. I also applaud NBC’s Olympic host, Mike Tirico, who was charming, warm and perfect for the job. The games inspired me to throw a themed Olympic party and luckily I only have to wait 3 more summers to use all the decorations again!
