A Promised Land
President Obama writes really well and he has a lot to say about the details of decisions made before and during his presidential terms: the campaign strategies that took him from unknown politician to the White House, meetings with world leaders, and bringing up his young girls in the public eye are just some of the topics covered. He writes with humor, self-deprecation and offers a lot of insight into what it is really like to be the POTUS. I am barely a third of the way through volume one, but I’ve read enough to say that I wholeheartedly recommend A Promised Land.
