The Real Real

After about 18 months of ignoring my insanely illogical, messy and over-crowded closet (I just kept wearing the same clothes over and over again anyway), I finally cleaned it out. I had a hard time parting with all those Hervé Léger dresses I wore over the years until a friend suggested I sell them on the Real Real. They make it so easy: You show your consultant what you want to sell over FaceTime and then the Real Real comes to your house and takes it away. They let you know what qualifies, price the items, and then give you your commission for whatever sells. Sounded ideal until they rejected half my stuff! Lesson learned: DO NOT CUT LABELS OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES. Those Hervé Léger dresses are coming right back to me.
