Birthright Trips Resume

I truly did not think it would happen so fast, especially in light of the recent terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas, but on May 24 fourteen Birthright participants landed in Tel Aviv marking the resumption of Birthright trips. I am currently serving as Chair of the New England Leadership Council for the Birthright in Israel Foundation (BRIF) and could not be prouder. BRIF provides an all expenses paid, 10 day trip to any Jewish young adult aged 18-32. The fact that they have resumed trips during a cease-fire, but tenuous moment, speaks volumes of their commitment to showing young Jews that Israel was established as their Jewish homeland; it will continue to exist and welcome them almost always - except during pandemics and/or when the airport is a missile target.
