William Shatner’s Space Voyage

“Captain Kirk’s” trip into space at 90 years old was the hook, but his interview upon landing back on earth was the real news story. Right after his 10 minute Blue Origin trip with Jeff Bezos, he eloquently and emotionally described the bigger than life, bigger than the universe impact it had on him. “I hope I never recover from this” is one of many ways he communicates his awe of what he just experienced. I highly recommend watching the link below despite the low production quality and informality because I’ve never seen a more vulnerable and human reaction from someone who had the rare opportunity to fly into space. While Jeff Bezos reaches for a bottle of champagne once back on earth, William Shatner is trying very hard to process what just happened.
