This music video directed by our very own Sabrina Roberts is one of her best!  The first scene pays tribute to Van der Weyden’s “Deposition of Christ.”  While Timi O, the singer, is animated, his entourage of supporters are utterly still.  Roberts continues the theme of Renaissance art throughout the video giving nods to Botticelli, Titian, Michelangelo and others.  She juxtaposes the aesthetic of classicism with the beat of contemporary rap and an ultra cool vibe.  After watching this lesson in art history, you may want to a) go to church, b) go to Italy and/or c) download SundayService.
