“The Pitt”
Just when you think there isn’t another series to binge, a new one pops up. In this case the medical drama, “The Pitt”, has us hooked. It takes place in the ER of a hospital in Pittsburgh and each episode is one hour of a day in the ER starting at 7 am. Noah Wyle who was a young doc in “ER” 30 years ago stars as the doctor in charge. He is fantastic and his supporting cast of nurses, med students, interns, attendings and patients represent a diverse and entertaining set of characters. I’ve heard it is a pretty realistic portrayal of this fast-paced and complex unit of the hospital - the show feels educational but is written so well that it is vastly entertaining too. The day takes place across 15 episodes, so it’s a nice, long series. On HBO’s Max.
