Diving into 2025

I’ve got to admit, January has been a pretty down-in-the-dumps month for me.  I have found myself with too much downtime, too few social engagements and a feeling of uselessness.  Add to that the icy temperatures that make just going for a walk challenging, and my gloomy mood deepens.  What am I doing about it? To combat cold temps, I walk on a treadmill or even in the mall;  to combat loneliness, I am reaching out more often to make plans with friends and family; to combat unproductivity, I am letting my non-profit affiliations know I have the time and the inclination to get even more involved.  And of course, I write.  So while diving into the warm waters of Anguilla last December was easy, diving into 2025 has proven to be a much less pleasant plunge. It’s time to change things up, create new patterns - start ballet classes again, tutor a child, take a writing class?  What are you diving into?  I would love to know!
