The College Experience

12 pm - Pre-game in Ruby’s Room: Vodka Shots, High Noons, “Flip Cup” (we won!). 1 pm - Party at “The Boot” - the slightly off-campus bar (within inches) - hundreds of students and parents with Triple Shot specials and Big Ass Drafts in hand. 2 pm - Darty (day party for newbies) at the Frat and time to switch it up to Natty Lights. 3 pm - Tulane vs. Tulsa at the Stadium - ROLL WAVE! Let me just say that my Wellesley College Parents’ Weekend had a very different tenor as did my overall college experience -Tulane is to Vegas as Wellesley is to a Convent (for me). Do I have any regrets about my college choice back in 1986? Nope. It suited me then and was truly formative intellectually, socially and culturally. But do I love feeling like a kid again pregaming at TU in our Green and Blue? Oh yeah!
