Paulo in “Apollo”

How cool is it when one of your friends is a professional dancer and he keeps you looped into his incredible performance experiences? Paulo Arais, principal dancer with the Boston Ballet and 3 other outstanding female dancers with the company - Lia Cirio, Chrystyn Fentroy and Viktorina Kapitonova - share the stage with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil for a performance of Balanchine’s Greek-inspired “Apollo'' at the Hollywood Bowl with music by Stravinksy. They filmed last week and the performance will be available for streaming on February 18, 2022. But you can view other performances right now as the Phil’s Sound/Stage virtual season just started.
