Octopi & Chimps & Bears - Oh My!

Ruff Ruff!  Now that I have your attention because you probably love dogs and likely own one, I have given Bookmark This #88 an animal theme.  Something about this summer summoned up my appreciation for the wonder of animals – both in nature and in captivity.  Going for a run and seeing a mama deer and her doe at dusk, hiking in NH and watching hawks making their lazy circles above, being entertained by a seal not 10 feet offshore in Nantucket.  All of these encounters (even with snakes) make me pause and appreciate that Mother Nature’s inhabitants are rather fascinating.  Like black bears frolicking on your front lawn in NH at 6:30 am, you never know what you might see!  (Photo credit:  Mitchell Roberts)
