Chyrstyn Fentroy

Let me introduce you to my friend and Principal Dancer with the Boston Ballet, Chyrstyn.  She simply stands out from the rest and her talent and passion are evident with every step she takes.  Dance Magazine, the preeminent publication of the dance world (it’s been around so long that even I subscribed in my youth!) chose Chrystyn for its March issue as the “cover girl” and feature article.  Her story is captivating - from having 2 parents who danced, to working very hard in NYC at various schools/companies to ultimately finding her true self-expression and starring in Boston Ballet productions.  I am so proud of her and all that she represents to young bi-racial dancers who may feel they don’t belong in the world of classical ballet
