Sam Altman - Founder OpenAI

This thing they call ChatGPT is a chatbot developed by OpenAI, which was founded by Stanford drop out, Sam Altman.  ChatGPT and Microsoft's Bing are like languages I’ve heard of but do not understand in the least. Similar to new technologies, I know that this software will profoundly affect my life and that of future generations.  Thanks to my nephew in the industry, I got a taste of how useful ChatGPT can be. Need a hashtag for your upcoming wedding, just plug in a few descriptive words of the bride and groom and voilá, your imaginary friend spits out several very usable ideas.  This HIBT episode with Guy Raz is not the most riveting of podcasts, but it does feel hugely important to listen to 35 year old Sam Altman describe the development of OpenAI, and the impact it will have on all of humanity including the good (curing cancer one day) and the bad (acknowledging the death and destruction possible if used with malintent).
